This song is about domestic violence.. i was victim of abuse very young. My boyfriend beating me up.. and i thought it was normal. 10 years later, i met the sweet girl who was in the same horrible dynamic with her boyfriend and i was outraged. It reminded me of my young little self and how to me it didn’t matter.. and being so full of anger and rage and feeling so protective of her and her situation reminded me how hard it is to protect yourself and be aware of your abuser. Be aware of your rights, and what’s fare. It’s hard to protect yourself. It’s hard to speak up.

A truly stunning album that mentally transports you to foggy early morning streets, the pavement wet from recent rains. Dreary, but in a comforting way. Like sitting next to a window during a rainstorm, listening to the drops hit the glass while remaining warm. Never fails to make me feel safe. Crow Yo
So delighted that Angel is finding that "hard won acceptance" that she sought and hope that her future path is one of authenticity. This work is one marked by melodious but not overwrought emotion, striking an intuitive balance of warmth and skill. hailhumanists
This Polish post-punk group has an icy edge and a new wave dancefloor pulse, and their big sound is enhanced by clear, powerful vocals. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 22, 2017
"It's funny where the mind goes..." On All Fours is the archetype of an album which rewards your patience. The initially scuzzy, abrasive impression of Goat Girl as intellectually impressive but icy and uncompromising post-punks soon gives way to the rich reward of a vividly multi-layered record with a much warmer, softer core of glorious, Stereolab-infused melodies. lazerock
